Prepare yourself for a futuristic spin on sumo wrestling. The Totoro Sumo Compound will be a sports complex in southern Japan like none other. It will house sumo training areas where players can work on new moves and techniques when they aren’t on the field. There will be VR simulators to help trainees, and they will be able to crank up the intensity of the fight (or turn it down) with simple voice commands.

The arena where all the action will take place will be housed underground when its not in use, but when an event arises the floor will split open and the arena will pull its self up where the stadium and center stage will float in mid air. Beneath each seat will be a control that gives the audience free reign of picking weather conditions, scenery, and also picking who they thick will win. If they pick the right person in the end they will win prize that will be delivered to them right there while they’re in their seat.
