"Where's Mei?!" will be a RPG video game in which you play Satsuki, the older sister of Mei, who disappears for a portion of the movie because she decides that she wants to run away from home. The in-game universe will be modeled after the world that was created in the movie with all the pertinent spots involved in the film, such as Satsuki and Mei’s house (your starting point), Totoro’s forest home, grannie’s house, school, etc.

To find Mei you can make use of Totoro’s help, whether it be through him summoning cat bus, flying you to a particular destination on his back while he rides his spinning top through the air, or other options. Satsuki will have to wander around, asking various cast members questions, in which they will reveal clues to he r sister’s whereabouts, or some times it turns out that they are sadly mistake and give Satsuki false information. The game itself will be targeted more towards children, although it will have an all ages rating.
